Your Crowning Glory
Updated: Jun 25, 2020

Something that many young Black girls struggle with is our hair. I know for myself it took a long time to love and appreciate my natural hair. At a young age, the media didn’t glorify women with curly or coily hair like mine. We are still subjected to a particular image that doesn't celebrate our natural beauty.
This is why we are here -- to tell you that the hair you were born with is bouncy and beautiful! Let no one convince you otherwise. Love and cherish it. It is a part of you!

“I love my hair because it’s a reflection of my soul. It’s dense, it’s kinky, it’s soft, it’s textured , it’s difficult, it’s easy and it’s fun. That’s why I love my hair."
